                    MOMENTS OF FRIENDSHIP 
You brought so much love out of my heart
And I can still remember right from the start
You never left my side- you were always there
Though tired and worn was I- you didn't care
Because I was the light that shined in your eyes
But the day would come and I would soon realize

That time would allow only a speck of sand
And you would no longer reach for my hand
Though I smiled and laughed when you were here
How life left its mark and would bring my first tear

But remember that I will always be
Full of the wonderful days of you and me
And wait for the time when once again
I can call your name- "Sam, my friend."
